R55 Laser Rifle 2D

The R55 is a laser rifle concept I designed for a futuristic FPS. The R55 comes with three different firing modes. Single, 3 round burst, and full auto. Starting with my initial thumbnails I played around with different shape design till I have several interesting rifles. Moving forward on rifle 13, I then painted out a more detailed version in photoshop. Included some different skins for the rifle that could be in the game as possible collectables. Next I did a rough blocking of the rifle in 3Ds Max, making a quick turnaround sheet for paint-overs.
